Throughout the trip, you will enjoy seven nights of 4-star accommodations, each offering comfort and an authentic Sicilian atmosphere. Our first stay will be on the northern side of Mt. Etna, providing stunning views of the volcano and surrounding landscapes. Later, we’ll settle in Marsala, known for its historic charm and proximity to renowned wineries. Each property has been carefully selected for its amenities, location, and warm hospitality, ensuring you have a relaxing and enriching experience.

We understand that some days you may just want to take off from activities. While we hope you will join us, we encourage you to "do you". All activities are optional.

Getting There

You’ll arrive at Vincenzo Bellini Catania Airport (CTA) to kick off the adventure. At the conclusion of the trip, private transfers will be provided to Palermo Airport (PMO) for your departure. Flights are not included, so plan your itinerary to arrive and depart at the specified times for seamless connections.

Changes to the itinerary may occur. In the event any experience listed should change due to matters beyond our control, it will be replaced with a similar quality experience.

MEET IN CATANIA

Day 1

Upon arrival at Vincenzo Bellini Catania Airport (CTA), we will visit Donnafugata Winery for a wine tasting and food-pairing lunch with a view of Mt. Etna. 

Later, we’ll check into our 4-star accommodations on the northern side of Mt. Etna and enjoy a welcome reception and al fresco dinner, weather permitting.

NORTH SIDE OF ETNA

Day 2

After breakfast we will embark on a 4x4 jeep tour of Mt. Etna, taking in stunning panoramic sea views. 

A lunch of Sicilian specialties, including Nebrodi black pork and local mushrooms, will follow. 

Next, we’ll visit Terre Nere Winery for a tasting of wines, olive oil, and honey. 

The day continues with exploration of the medieval town of Randazzo before dinner at Etna Quota Mille.

SOUTH MT ETNA

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast and some free time to relax or explore your surroundings. 

We will then tour and taste at Planeta Winery, followed by lunch. 

Later, we’ll visit Benanti Winery, known for its prized wines. 

The evening will be at leisure, with dinner on your own.

TAROMINA

Day 4

The morning is yours for spa services or local exploration. 

Our lunch and a walking tour in Taormina will showcase this stunning hilltop town. After some free time for shopping, we’ll head to Villa Britannia for a cooking class where we’ll create Sicilian dishes and enjoy local wines while taking in breathtaking sea views.

WEST ISLAND

Day 5

Following breakfast from, we will check out of our hotel and depart for Cefalù, a picturesque beach town with a Norman cathedral. Enjoy lunch on your own before continuing to Marsala, where we’ll check into our 4-star accommodations and savor a seafood dinner.

MARSALA WINES

Day 6

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 to 9:30 AM, followed by a morning exploration of Marsala. We will tour and taste at Cantine Fina, accompanied by lunch. 

Later, we’ll visit Cantine Florio for a Marsala wine and food pairing. 

Dinner will feature local arancine.

SALT PANS

Day 7

Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning before departing for a guided tour of the Marsala Salt Pans, where there will be opportunities to taste and purchase the locally produced salt. 

Lunch will be a picnic at Azienda Agricola Fabio Ferracane, featuring natural wines and a spread prepared by the winemaker’s family. 

The trip concludes with a multi-course finale dinner.

HEAD HOME OR EXTEND YOUR STAY

Day 8

A private transfer to Palermo Airport (PMO) will be provided for flights departing at 7:30 AM.
