Hungry For Travel has thoughtfully curated a collection of activities and experiences that showcase the very best of the region, drawing on our deep expertise to ensure an unforgettable journey for every participant. We understand that some days you may just want to take off from activities. While we hope you will join us, we encourage you to "do you". All activities are optional.

Getting There

We will assist you in getting to our accommodations in Kent. An airport transfer from Heathrow takes approximately 1.5 hours, for reference. From the Cotswolds we are also happy to suggest transportation to the nearest train station or London, or where ever you are going next.

Kent Wine Country

Day 1

After checking into your country estate hotel, enjoy your first introduction to England's award-winning sparkling wines during a welcome reception featuring English sparkling wine, artisan cheeses, and local charcuterie.

This evening, enjoy a relaxed welcome dinner showcasing modern British cuisine made with seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farms.

England's Sparkling Wine Country

Day 2

Spend the morning at one of England's leading wineries, learning how Kent's chalk soils and cool climate produce sparkling wines now recognized around the world.

Enjoy a leisurely vineyard lunch paired with estate wines.

Dinner is held at one of Kent's premier vineyard restaurants where the menu is thoughtfully paired with estate wines. We will arrive early and have a tour and tasting.

Canterbury & the Kent Coast

Day 3

Spend the morning exploring Canterbury's medieval streets and magnificent cathedral and taste some of the local cheddars before continuing to the coast for an afternoon in Whitstable.

Find a seaside spot for lunch on your own.

Our last dinner in Kent celebrates traditional of the British Sunday Roast!

Transfer to the Cotswolds

Day 4

Check out from our accommodations.

Travel west through southern England with a stop at historic Hever Castle before arriving in our quaint accommodations in the Cotswolds. Lunch will be on your own here. There are multiple restaurants and food trucks.

After settling into your hotel, take a short orientation walk through the village before gathering for a cocktail hour where we will give a general overview of the area and our next 4 days followed by a meal of locally produced foods.

The Storybook Villages of the Cotswolds

Day 5

Explore the iconic villages of Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, and Stow-on-the-Wold with time for shopping, cafés, and independent galleries.

Lunch is enjoyed in a traditional English pub.

This evening is a cooking experience at Daylesford Farm. We will arrive early so that you have time in their farm shop.

Mushroom Foraging

Day 6

Today we will take a walk and forage mushrooms with a local guide and professional forager.

Our lunch will include a taste of some of the mushrooms we find.

This afternoon we will visit Hawkstone Brewery to see how their lager is made. For those fans of Clarkston's Farm, we will keep our eye open for Caleb or Jeremy.

Dinner will be at the renouned Wild Rabbit.

Country Estates & English Traditions

Day 7

Visit one of England's magnificent estates and gardens before enjoying a traditional afternoon tea complete with warm scones, clotted cream, pastries, and tea.

This afternoon we will visit the lavender fields and their shop for lavendar products.

Tonight's farewell-dinner is one of the culinary highlights of the journey. Enjoy an elegant multi-course dinner celebrating Britain's finest seasonal ingredients paired with outstanding English and European wines.

HEAD HOME OR EXTEND YOUR STAY

Day 8

Checkout time is 11:00am. Please plan your travel accordingly. If you would like assistance getting to the train station or London, we are happy to assist.
